New Development
Hi,
We have a project that is currently in the design stage and our client has decided to pursue DirecTV as one of the providers we would like to have on site to offer to the tenants (120 units and 2 retail spaces). I need to be connected to the engineering department so we can determine where the closest POC is on the streets near by so we can plan for the connection to the MPOE room.

You need to find an MDU(Multi Dwelling Unit) installer to install the dish and their system as DTV is primarily only for residential/single apt/condo

I understand but I also need the main point of connection from whatever manhole they occupy in the street to the MPOE room so the low voltage contractor can then take that connection to the IDF rooms on each level. DTV would then connect to whatever tenant wants to use their service or they would go with another option that has been provided in the building.

The MDU installer mounts a dish to receive the sat signals then they use their system and coax to feed the units.

There is no manhole. The MDU that you work with will install one or more satellite dishes in appropriate locations and provide the distribution equipment to the various units.

DirecTV doesn't connect by a manhole on the street. They are a satellite service, so receiving signal from satellites in geosynchronous orbit, not a feed from somewhere on the street.
What you describe sounds like cable or other such hardline service. I would verify what actual type of service you are looking for.
