New TV

I have to buy a new TV as my old Sony TV has stopped working (excellent TV for 15yrs). Can DTV send a technician to set up my new TV?  I live alone & son works out of town most of the time plus, he's not a TV technician.

Thank you,

It will cost you $99 for a technician to visit. Enquire about setting it up from whoever you buy the TV from, it will likely be cheaper and it really isn’t hard to do it yourself. If you buy from Best Buy, they will deliver and set up.

What is the model number of your DirecTV box?

Setup should be pretty easy .... Connect the video cable (probably HDMI cable) and reprogram the remote control.
