no on demand channels like 1000

enter 1000 into your remote, diect tv states that it is not available (same for the other on demand channels). Had no problem, till a technician swapped out my dvr. I have reset dvd and genie to no avail.

You have to connect the new dvr to the internet techs don't always do that step.

@nabukl Full story; tech swapped out dvr, tried to connect internet, couldn't so he said that maybe it hasn't finished processing yet, and for me to try later. So I did and that is where the previous came in. I did call direct tv, the message told me that various help centers have been closed, try calling later, than ended the phone call. By the way, thanks for your response. Enjoy your little one.

Have you attempted to connect the dvr to the internet, and btw I do enjoy all of my grandkids that's why I don't always respond sometimes I get busy and forget. None of the aces that respond here get paid we do this voluntarily.

@nabukl Hi, this is for all responders, the problem of losing on demand with direct tv, I finally got through to direct tv by using the online chat. The problem was caused by a hiccup on direct tv's side. They had to reinstall my account or something like that. Nothing was changed, except for the on demand which I have now. Thanks to everybody who tried to help. Have a great day and be safe.
