Obtaining a User Manual for the HR24 receiver

Hello.

I have 2 HR24 receivers.  Both of them from DirecTV.  Neither came with a User Guide/User Manual.

I tried looking for one on the Internet.  Did a Google search - it had a link to the DirecTV website but that leads to a dead page (404 reported by the DirecTV webserver).

The only place I can find one is from the manualslib.com website, which requires that I add an extension to my browser, which I do not want to do for security reasons.

Is there another place where I can get a User Manual for an HR24-100 receiver?

DTV manuals are generic to their family all HR are the same.

Manuals are no longer given to customers as the internet agent saves costs and resources. This is an overall manual that covers most aspects of the regular Genies and earlier HDDVRs.

You can also ask questions in the forum if you need more specific help with your equipment.

Well many HR are very similar, but I would not say they are the same. Such as Genies are HR but have some more features than regular HDDVRs. The jump from HR34 to HR44 with the built-in CCK and using the RC7X series remotes. The HR54 being the first to support the 4K Client. And the revised HR54R1 removing the eSATA port. Just some examples.

I agree the manual should cover most aspects. But if there is anything beyond that then the OP should mention what they are looking for in the manual and perhaps the community could help.
