Pausing DVR program freezes the system
If i pause live tv, the program freezes, I cannot play from that point, I cannot rewind from that point, the only solution is to turn off the DVR (not full power down)
- when I perform the above step, most of the time the sound does not start (it is as if muted), I have to turn off the DVR again (not full power down) and sound returns

Try a red button reset.

In addition to the reset I would suggest making sure your hard drive is not full. In your playlist it shows percentage of free space.

Restart your receiver two times with ten minutes. Reset and when the picture comes back after about 5-6 minutes do a reset again. Give the guide 24-48 hrs to reload the guide and artwork.
If that does not solve your issue then you most likely need a new receiver.
