PC NOT ABLE TO ACTIVATE

My iphone found the Nomad and is currently downloading my first program 19 minutes left.

I have tried to activate the nomad on my LAPTOP 2.8GHZ 8GB RAM is telling me im missing a system requirement.  I have net framework installed and I cannot get this to activate.

Any help?

FWIW, My wife's Win7 Home Premium 64bit Sony Vaio has the same issue.  Works great on my old Acer Vista laptop.

That sort of attitude won't win you much help here.  dcd was, in fact, trying to keep this thread on track as we try to help understand the root cause of this particular error message.

and all i want to do is get this issue resolved so that I dont a: be a guinea pig for tech support and b: dont have to answer unnecesary questions and c: dont have to return the product.  This could be as revolutionary as slingbox for worldwide travellers albeit with a lot more limitations.  So, if im having a "conversation" with tech support then let tech support answer.  The fact that they have put this product out to the market without understanding the error codes is somewhat frustrating. 

I have now hit the red reset button and will be TRYING to load this on my VAIO (it is becoming more apparent that this is a VAIO software issue)

After hitting the red reset button for 30 seconds and letting all the blue lights come up...still failed to activate on the Sony Vaio laptop running Windows 7 Proffessional with the same error

Desktop computer (home built no bloatware) running 7 ultimate

Sony Vaio on Microsoft XP MV

 

Not been able to activate on

Sony Vaio running 7 Professional

FOUND THE FIX FOUND THE FIX...

I reset my INTERNET EXPLORER to all default settings. Hope this helps some of you

My IT guy is shocked as well. This comes about with either tech support having no clue how this actually works or not being truthfull. If it needs IE to work on a PC why not just say so. I wasted at least 10 hours on this

Note to all posters.  I just heard from engineering and they believe they found the solution and have altered the software to correct it.  They asked that I pass on their request to download the PC software again and it should act properly.  As an aside they asked that I advise all of you that the IE solution was a timing coincidence and that IE actually had no connection to the problem or the cure.
