RC72 Pause/Play Problem
HR44-500 DVR with RC72 remotes. Pause/Play button non responsive or requires long hold to stop or start playing a recording. Have tried multiple remotes and rebooted the DVR.

The problem happens whether it is a recording or live TV. Seems to have started after the interface update took place.

While reviewing other problems, it was suggested to turn off the DVR for several minutes to clear the cache. I did that and it didn't work.
I tried a third remote and it did work.

To clarify, it is not just to "turn off" as that just puts it into standby mode essentially. Otherwise nothing could record while it is "off".
It is unplugging from power for a couple minutes or so to make sure the memory/cache is cleared to rebuild/reload cleanly. That includes rebuilding the guide data.
But hopefully with it already working again that it stays that way.

Thank you. I'm sorry I wasn't clear: the DVR was definitely unplugged for several minutes.
The alternate remotes were from Genies that we no longer had but had all worked, so I'm not sure how two out of three remotes would just have the same problem suddenly.
If it happens again, I'll shout out again.
