receiver cables

If im correct the c61k-700 receiver and the HD DVR receivers requires different cables. I'm troubleshooting a error message on my c61k-700 receiver.  It was recommended to swap receivers to see if iis the tv causing the input error message.

Both of those boxes use HDMI cables.

What's the error message you're seeing?

I still get the no input signal error message after upgrading to 4k.  its a intermittent message when i pause or change channels. It happens on all channels including 4k. Directv sent a new box and a tech changed the cable. It was suggested I swap receivers but they use different cables for each receiver.

What are the cables? Both boxes should use HDMI cables. For the C61K connected to a 4K TV you'll need to be sure that the HDMI cable is 4K certified. Is this problem only happening on the 4K channels?

All HD devices connect to the TV by HDMI. Doesn't matter if HDDVR, HD non-DVR, Genie, Mini Genie Client, etc. The boxes get service by the same coax. An old enough HDDVR might have an 'adapter' to be compatible with SWM, but that you will see behind it going to the normal coax.
