Receiver has not received guide data. No signal on 110 and 119
My receiver keeps putting up an error 920 that it has not received guide data. When I run a diagnostic it comes up Diagnosti Code 42-460 Satellite Dish Alignment or Distribution Problem.
Nothing has changed with my dish or wiring. How do I correct this?

Same here in Oregon!!! Calls keep getting cut off. Can't contact through website either. Time to change service. Tired of AT&T!

Same here Just posted my problems under similar 920 title. Check it to see my fight with them. The entire system is burning down and the operator wanted to laugh about it. I told her that these pages were full of very very very POed people who are sick of the garbage. She transferred me to tech support and I got cut off. i am even madder now.

If you've already reset your DVR and have other DVR/Receivers that haven't been reset, those will still work, but with missing channels. You can also view some streaming channels on your computer or smart device. Hopefully the problem will be fixed soon.
You can also try viewing the SD channels for the time-being. Go to MENU/SETTINGS &HELP/SETTINGS DISPLAY/PREFERENCES/GUIDE CHANNELS. . . Then select "Show All Channels"

Always thought direct tv was the bomb. Many years no problems. Can't even get to customer service just a busy signal. Finally got through to automated voice then was cut off. Poor customer service. Will think about other options...

Having exact same issue. Not sure what code 920 means. But when I check my recording history there are lots of canceled programs that were supposed to record.

Thx. I saw the don't reboots so I did not do that. Most of my guides for the next day or so are filled with programming, but after that there is the no info available bull.

I recieved an error message that the Guide was not updateing ciode 920, I went through the steps indicated and re-ceived Error Code 41-989, I attempted to call but was disconnected 4 times after the initials log in session try to fet some help. Can you help me resolve the issue?

There was a outage that caused the guide data problem and caused the call centers to swamped and is slowly coming back but most people that reset their DVRs got no error codes only the set up menu.

My diagnostic code is 72-389 and told me to call DirecTV, which is useless. Anybody else?

Too late!! When we already followed the instructions on the screen and rebooted our DVR. I have neighbors who have never lost their TV, what is that all about?

IF YOU STILL DON'T HAVE ALL YOUR HD STATIONS TRY GOING INTO SETUP AND REPEAT SATELLITE SETUP, THAT SHOULD DO IT. IT WORKED FOR ME!!!

When I first got the notice that there was no new guide info downloaded for x-hours, I checked my guide. There were several days worth of the guide already on the reciever. It wasn't until I reset the receiver, that I lost all that, and it could not retrieve any new information. Possibly your neighbors did not reset their units so have stored guide data on their reciever.
