Receiver in power mode

When I turn my bedroom TV & Receiver on, I get a message: Receiver was in Power Saving Mode due to 4 hours of inactivity. I’m so confused, receiver was turned off, no blue light was on.

That is what the power saver mode does it returns the reciever to its standby mode of no lights or video/audio output, it can be turned off if you want.

Power Saver set to ON means that after 4 hours of no button pressed (inactivity) it will turn off as if you hand pressed power/off.

If you had turned it off, then at some point the box came back on. Such as remote accidently having buttons pressed (pets), or a power fluctuation or full power outage (even if only seconds) cut power to the box and when power back it did a full reset/bootup. Make sure it is not connected to a "smart" power strip. If this is because of having common power issues, you may want to consider a uninterruptable power supply (UPS).

You can of course turn the feature off, but that is more power usage if you forget to turn it off or have a situation that turns it on as mentioned above.

I can tell you it's not someone pressing a remote, I have 4 client receivers(1 C51-100 and 3 C41W-100) and for the last week or so it is happening on all of them. Every time every day. All those receivers last updates where back in November so it isn't a software update issue. Also the HS-17 last update was back in December.

So something has changed.
