Receiver Reboot Process
When turning on my TV lately I get "The receiver reboot process is nearly complete". This will go on and on until I finally reset the receiver. This is a Gemini receiver. Any suggestions? Thanks

It is a Gemini and yes I reset it to get it to work. The problem comes back about a week later. Today was the third time this month.

Are you talking about the tower? I have 4 receivers, 3 genies and 1 Gemini and none of the other receivers have had the problem.

Genie-2 (HS17) is the Headless Server tower that is essentially the brain for all Clients. It serves the function as the receiver for the setup.
Mini Genies are Clients, extensions of the main box (Genie, Genie Lite, or Genie-2).
Gemini is the newest Client. Since it serves both satellite and streaming options (downloadable apps), it could be called dual purpose.
Clients are not receivers because they have no tuners of their own to receive the service from the satellite.
Just a clarification so if you ever need to troubleshoot your setup you have a little better understanding on their interaction with each other.
