Receiving return kits

I have asked for a return kit from direct TV 5 different times going on a 6th. they say they have ordered the kit and I should have received it 3 to 5 days later. Still no kit to return equipment. I have made every effort to return equipment that they have now reported to collection agency and is now dinging my credit report and score. How can I fix this it is not ok they are not doing there part but I'm paying the price financially

The current return process is you take the boxes to a participating FedEx/The UPS Store location to send back (no return kit needed). Naturally keep receipt showing they took possession.  The old process of shipping a return kit (to you by FedEx, back to them by USPS), is only now used if over 10 miles away from a participating shipper.

Problem is, you have gone beyond just the non-return fee (NRF) but to a collection agency. Once that happens, settling with the collection agency is usually all you can do. If you were within the distance where a return kit was required, then I would submit a BBB complaint to kick it up to the corporate level. It is a shot, though be prepared that it may be too far down the collection path.

I am 10 miles out or more and have told them that that is why I was being sent the return kit.

Requesting a supervisor, or even going the BBB route should have been done well before the 6th time. You can try, but with collection that means DirecTV has sold off the balance and no longer deals with it.
