Return of Equipment

I received a letter to return the equipment Immediately???  More than 2 weeks ago, I was told by your agent to return the large flat TV Cable Box ONLY. It was returned THEN, at Walmart in Plainfield, NJ.  I do not have any other parts to return. The FedEx desk Packed in their carton, the shipping agent notified us that it would be there in the morning.

Please confirm that the account is Cleared.

Thank You

You take a returnable receiver to a UPS/FedEx store to scan them into the system and they give you a receipt or if you are not within 10 miles of one you call DTV for a return box that you take to the post office.  No idea what Walmart/FedEx desk did with it.

The instructions were to go to a UPS/FEDEX store (Walmart in Watchung, NJ)

as I did and they packaged the receiver and placed the label as I watched.

They said it would be there in the morning.

Since the remaining components were one-time use items, they were discarded as instructed.

@gregruffa

Only receiver/client boxes are returnable.

Are you being notified they didn't get that box back, or there is another box that is supposed to be returned? If you had any other boxes, what models are they?

Not our agent any more than they are yours. This is a public forum of other customers. If you want official support, you call DirecTV. If the official "help" team on the forum gets this resolved, then great. But be aware they have limited options compared to proper support.

UPS/FedEx stores bulk ship the receivers to DTV, They don't box or provide labels.

If they boxed/labeled an individual receiver, that is concerning as they are supposed to be bulk shipped. Was that a corporate/company owned FedEx or The UPS Store? Just wondering if it was a participating shipping location to begin with.
