Return of my equipment
I have tried numerous time to return my equipment to you. I closed my account in April and because I live over 50 miles from a Direct TV location and our UPS and Fed Ex locations will not accept the equipment for return, I have been charged for the equipment. I DO NOT WANT YOUR EQUIPMENT!!! If you check the account for Cathy (Edited to remove personal information)at (Edited to remove personal information) Ridgecrest, CA (Edited to remove personal information) you will see a long list of call and attempts to solve this problem. I will not call back again only to have to be put on hold, transferred, hung up on and promised this issue has been solved. I have spent hours trying to solve this issue. It is now in your hand. If I am turned over to collections, I will retaliate as it is not my fault. I feel you are only putting me off until I finally just pay the bill. This will not happen! Please help me solve this issue. Thank You Catherine (Edited to remove personal information)

Please remove your personal information. This is a public customer populated forum, not customer support and not a way to contact Directv. You just shared your personal information for any scammer to use, please remove it.

This is NOT Customer Service. This is a PUBLIC MESSAGE BOARD populated by customers such as yourself. There is no "you" or "your" since again, we are customers just like you.
You might want to remove your PERSONAL INFORMATION unless you are wanting spam and unwanted calls (use the 3 vertical dots).

DTV doesn't have any locations to return equipment to. Those UPS/FedEx locations where not UPS/FedEx stores that have the scanners and software to scan the receivers into the system so you need to call DTV to get return boxes to take to the post office or find a UPS/FedEx store that can scan them.

If you are over 10 miles from a participating shipping location, then you call DirecTV for the old process. They send you a prepaid return kit by FedEx for you to return by USPS (Postal Service, not UPS).
What are the models of each box you have? Perhaps not all (if any) are returnable and you would recycle instead.
This is a public forum of other customers. So your threats of retaliation or such mean absolutely nothing. For official support you call DirecTV.

I believe what you need is just a return label, rep will instruct you what needs to be done regarding with your old receivers, once equipment is returned to either FedEx/UPS please keep the official receipt to serve as a reference - and for the charges for the non returned equipment it can be waived once validated that dtv received the non-return equipment.

DirecTV doesn't send out just a return label. They sound out a complete return kit (the old process) if you are over 10 miles from a participating shipping location (FedEx or The UPS Store; corporate locations, not outreach places), but only if boxes are returnable in the first place.
