Returning equipment
Back in June I went to your website looking for how to return extra cable box and remote. I found this site that had me print the label and give to the post office. I have heard nothing since and Im afraid it got lost somewhere. The label has me sending this to Smartpost/returns, Parcel return service, 56950. Can you please help me. I would like that $7 charge off my bill since Im low income living on limited income. Thank You

Not sure what you found, but that's not how DirecTV Satellite equipment gets returned. Typically you would call DirecTV (number below) and deactivate any unwanted equipment. Then they provide return instructions. Most often you would take it to a nearby UPS or FedEx shipping center along with your account number. They box it up and return it for you. I wonder if what you actually found was the address for recycling older equipment?

To remove the $7 additional TV fee, you must call DirecTV to deactivate the box. Shipping the box does not deactivate it, so you should have called DirecTV first before you did anything.
The only label to print would have been for the recycle program if too old a model to return back to DirecTV. Hopefully it was an older model, so you don't get a non-return fee (NRF).
What was the model number of the box? If you don't recall, ask DirecTV when you call to deactivate it. They will most likely verify the model numbers and/or Receiver IDs (RIDs) of the other boxes to figure out which one it is that you no longer have.

You're welcome. As only a few models are returnable these days, most likely you will avoid the NRF. But do post back with the model number to be sure. Fingers crossed.
Be prepared they will not adjust back the $7 fee as they don't know to deactivate it until you call them. But at least that is relatively minor compared to an NRF.
