RF remote control
I have a R22 dvr reciever. The reciever is on onen room and the tv is an adjacent room. How can I set up the remote to control the reciever from the adjacent room? I have a RC23 remote I have been using. I got a RC65RB remote but can find no place to plug the rf antenna into the R22 reciever. I also have a RC65RBX reciever can it be used to control the reciever from the adjacent room? Any help would be apreciated. Thanks Confused

Your R22 has its RF remote antenna built in. Just configure it for RF mode and you should be good to go.

it is an HR24 - 200 My age 80 maybe not to swift. I also lost the manual for the hr 24 any chance of getting a copy.Also do the local channel's record etc. thank you larry ward

Is it an R22 SD DVR or HR24 HD DVR? Both have RF remote capability, so follow the step-by-step instructions under the Remote Setup (Setup Menu) to change the remote to RF mode.
What do you mean by "do the local channels record"? Do you mean local stations with an off-air antenna? You'll need the AM21 Off-Air Tuner Accessory for that, which you can order via your DirecTV.com account.
