That model number comes back as a Winegard Travler dish that is a SWM dish.

Thank you all, I do appreciate your help...

Shannon02: With all do respect, everything I am seeing is that the SK-3005 (Legacy) is not SWM. There are a number of articles on how to convert it to SWM.

Juniper: My receiver is the H24.

goldw1800: There is nothing at all blocking it. The controller shows *101 *110 *119.

1. I started with good signal (80s) and channels from 101, little to nothing from 99 or 103.

2. Installed a "new" reflector and arm incase it was bent or sloppy.

3. I then had great signal (98-99) and channel on 101, but weak signal (70s) and no channels on 99/103.

4. Installed a BBC, and now the H24 (LNB5 & Multiswitch) doesn't see any sats. even though the controller is still locked into *101 *110 *119.

IF you go to this site:

Winegard DIRECTV Slimeline Satellite antenna SK-3005 (satpro.tv)

Read the PDF file --it says it's a SWIM SYSTEM --BBC's Block signal on a swm system.

goldw188: You are correct that the SK-SWM3 is a SWM unit. Unfortunately that is not the unit that I have. My SK-3005 is an earlier unit that was/is not SWM. please see link below to my unit.

Perhaps your LNB is Problem --have you replaced that?

I have not replaced the LNB5...

If I do, is it best to stick with the LNB5 or go to a LNB3?

They have removed spot beam locals from 119 and almost nothing on the 110 --the LNB 3 should be good to go unless you need spanish or some international stations

I've spent enough time on this to be dangerous.

I 100% agree goldw1800 that all I really need is 101/99/103. But with that said, this older SK-3005 unit has (4) cables that go up the arm to the LNB5, so how would I terminate the LNB3 that only has a single?

Is that part of converting this unit to SWM?

@goldw1800

On the page you linked apparently that one is a replacement for the one the OP has. I think that is where some of the confusion came from.

From that page:

The TRAV'LER SK-SWM3 replaces the TRAV'LER SK-3005

A quick review of the pdf for the model OP has, it gives the impression that it may be able to convert to SWiM/SWM with a kit but is not SWM by default.
