Video Bridge

Why does a video bridge pull a 169 IP address which means not connect to internet and why does it have a ethernet port that is not active?  Everything is working in my house but why does a Video Bridge say no clients are connected when actually they are?

The wireless video bridge (WVB) is for connecting your wireless clients to the coax that the main Genie is on. Has nothing to do with your internet and that Ethernet port is not used by the customer (at least at this time).

So what model is your main Genie and wireless Clients?

Where is it saying no Clients connected?

What troubleshooting have you tried?

If everything is "working" are you just getting an error message?

The WVB is not supposed to connect to the internet. It provides a private WiFi link for your Genie devices.

I'm confused by saying the video bridge is saying the message. It doesn't go on a TV, and has no display, so where is this message being seen? On the main Genie's TV, the website, or something else?

As stated before the WVB and the clients setup a secondary WiFi network only they can use that will show up on other devices like a computer but it can't access it.
