I have had Direct TV for several months now and have noticed VOD in the channel guide, but have never used the Video on Demand feature. Is there a charge similar to PPV for using a VOD channel?

I have had Direct TV for several months now and have noticed VOD in the channel guide, but have never used the Video on Demand feature. Is there a charge similar to PPV for using a VOD channel?

If you see a $ next toVOD item in the selection it is PPV- If none is noted then it's free to download-Example if you have stars movie channel 1527 all selections are free to download and view.
Start with Channel 1000 in the guide.

Use channel 1239 to download a music concert as a test. You can time it and that will tell you if you are properly networked and what speeds you can expect.
