Waiting for receiver signal
We have had the waiting for receiver signal a lot lately. We have to unplug everything. And plug it back in. Now it’s constantly on waiting for receiver signal. And we are having trouble getting help from directv. I have reset the receiver several times.

If unplugging the receiver and back in fixes it temporarily then most likely either the box needs to be replaced or there is an issue with the connection into that room.
What model are you boxes?
Do they each have the issue or just certain ones?
Have you tried swapping boxes to see if issue stays in room or follows the box?
What is the exact error message?

I have been having the same problem. Reset the red button several times and even unplugged the receiver. It is a wireless box. What can I do besides drop Directv and go with ATT Fiber or Spectrum?

Have you reset the Wireless Bridge? or just the wireless receiver? Try Resetting the Wireless bridge attached to your genie

I've been having this issue since February 5. I have been re-setting receivers constantly. Sometimes after 5 minutes of watching. Always at least once while I'm running on the treadmill.
I have had at least 5 Directv technician visits. Techs have checked wiring, satellite, swapped out tower. Nothing helps. All the techs who've visited have told me it is a "software" issue as they leave and shrug their shoulders.
I finally cried out on social media, a friend who works for AT&T put me in touch with "The Office of the President" who were responsive at first, now they are ghosting me. They insisted on sending yet another tech out on April 16. I asked that I be contacted with any information garnered from that tech visit. I've sent 4 unanswered emails and left 2 unanswered voicemails since April 16.
Is this normal or acceptable?

Wow, Joe Biden even helps DIRECTV customers solve their technical issues? He’s definitely better than Trump!
That issue normally resolves itself, but if it is a continuous issue then you need to call DIRECTV and talk to tech support so they can try troubleshooting and if still unable to resolve schedule a service call.
For the person that has had at least 5 techs out, unbelievable that that’s still ongoing. What happened on February 5th?

Well "Office of the President" is a department essentially at corporate level (not the country's Presidency). Used to be you could write in to it and if the issue deemed it was warranted would get a specific agent to work with you to the problem finding a resolution. They were never a replacement for customer support, only stepped in if an issue went so far it was on their radar.
