Where to recycle cable box?
Do you need to ship it to the recycling center AT&T/Directv suggest or can you just bring it to your town or county recycling center?

What is the model of any box you are trying to recycle? Just to be sure not returnable so you don't get hit with a non-return fee (NRF).
Either take to a local e-waste/electronic recycling center, or you can try www.directv.com/recycle for another recycling option. If you do recycle the box, remove the access card first and dispose of securely like a credit card.
