Why is my TV saying no signal, when everything appears connected etc.

I had my TV on pause. Then I could not unpause it. I turned the TV off and when ai turned it back on the rectangle box that says No Signal is floating around. I have tried leaving Direct TV and going to Firestick TV, then coming back to Direct TV, I have rebooted my router, the green light on the Direct TV is on, nothing has been touched regarding plugs etc. Everything appears to be connected and working. Why can’t my I watch Direct TV? This is in the bedroom, the main box in the living room is working fine.

when the tv is powered up, it switches the input to a preset default. It's probably "TV" which is an antenns input. Use the TV controller to go to the input for directv, it's probably HDMI 1.

Yes, it is most likely your dish needs to be aligned.  There are videos on youtube if you want to try it.

@Eyesablu Reset all your receivers twice within 10 minutes. Give the boxes 24-48 hrs to reload the guide and artwork. If after 48 hrs the issue continues call into Direct TV.

@Eyesablu

DirecTV is service from satellite, so rebooting your router should not have any affect as it is not from your internet.

A "No Signal" message is from the TV saying nothing is recognized on that input. You mention switching betwen DirecTV and your Firestick, so does your Firestick work? If that gets the same error, than your TV is absolutely the problem. I would unplug the TV for a minute or two to reset it.

Now if DirecTV is the only one getting "No Signal", some other things to check. First verify you are tuning to the correct input. Verify that the HDMI cord between the DirecTV box and TV is secure on both ends. Check that the DirecTV box is powering on in the first place.

Also make sure that neither the DirecTV box or TV is plugged into a "smart" power strip. Plus if your TV has it, turn off HDMI-CEC. These don't play well with DirecTV equipment.

What models are each of your boxes and which one is having the problem?
