Why SL5 LNB Directv Dish Slimline works with R22-200 and not with H25-100?

I had the R22-200 connected until a couple days ago and it had a good signal strength I also made a test to be sure and the signal strength was there. Now that I connected the H25-100 I have no signal.

For the H25-100 receiver

I changed the settings to:

Disc type: SL5 LNB

RB/INTL: None Selected

Switch Type: Multi-switch

*I’m using b band converter

And I still have no signal, I connect back the R22-200 receiver and the signal is there.

Attach a some screen shots

1.-Frezzes and stays at 0% after and then 771 Satellite Signal issue appears

Can anyone help me?

H25 is the only non-Genie to be SWM only. You appear to have the older multi-switch there. Did you relocate that box from another location (i.e. Home to detached garage/worship or RV), or did you get that box provided elsewhere?

The R22 can work on SWM in addition to the legacy multi-switch. If you don't already know, the R22 is MPEG-4 (HDDVR in hiding) so does not need replacing as long as you have one H or HR box active on the account.

Because the H25 is a SWM system only receiver and you don't have a SWM system. You have to get a SWM LNB and a 21v power inserter to use the H25.

Thank you for your support

Is this the SWM LNB that I need? What would be the next step

Did you relocate that box from another location (i.e. Home to detached garage/worship or RV), or did you get that box provided elsewhere?

I did get the box from a friend, he is paying it but dosent use it

The LNB would be the "eye" on the receiving dish. That is the power inserter for it, but not the LNB itself.

Box from a friend? That is another issue. Boxes are not made to be mixed and matched with another account which could cause issues with service authorizations on them being networked. Plus account sharing is against DirecTV's Terms of Service and Federal regulations. Remember service address determines locals, sport teams allowed, and taxes required to be paid for what is on your account.
