Gemini Air

I just got my brand new Gemini Air to beta test.  So far so good, The only issue that I had was it did not want to install the first time and needed a restart.  The whole setup process took about 45 mins.  I really see no difference between the Gemini/Osprey Box and the Gemini Air other than the picture quality is slightly better and the wifi speeds to the device are better.  So far so good hopefully no major issue arise.  Just putting this out in case anyone might have any questions about it.

@jjbergstad I'm having the same issue with pairing. I've had to repair it a few times and it takes forever unless I hold the remote close to the dongle. Being behind the tv seems to block the pairing

Does anyone still notice Audio/video sync issues?   I am seeing it a lot to the point where it's unwatchable.  Sometimes resetting it helps but quickly goes back to worse.  This is with the Gemini Air connected directly to HDMI on the TV.   If I use the soundbar the auto sync delay is even worse.

That is strange I only had that happen once then it froze rebooted itself then went back to normal.  No other audio/video syncing issues on my end. Has your air received the latest update yet?  Mine updated 10 days ago but everyone gets their updates at different times.

@Tiger593  Yes, I actually received the update yesterday and then I started to receive the 4K channel.    I think I will try to do a factory reset on it and start over to see if that might solve the issue.   I noticed it does have an additional display setting for Chroma which seems to enable Dolby Vision on my TV so I'm hoping a reset will work and I can watch on that device.   My Gemini does not have that setting as of yet since it has not received the latest update.

Has anyone else that has the Gemini Air received a 2nd update in less than a month?  I just noticed that I received another update yesterday and I had one on the 13th of this month.  This is unusual to get updates so close together usually they are farther apart.  Has anyone else noticed any new content or features since this new update I am not finding anything different?

@Tiger593 I think those updates are guide data updates. B/c the software version number--usually just the last number changes. Osprey does the same thing. If you box didn't restart on it's own in the middle of the night---it wasn't an "update update" Software version number on the Air before was 30.5.16.32 now it's .38 at the end

Mine stopped working and when I called I was told sorry they won't replace it so I only got to test for a couple of months.

I'm still sitting with the April update on my Gemini Air.  Never have seen May or the ability to watch 4k.
