I've never been to Minnesota but that's where my TV thinks it is.

I am in Florida (as is my TV) How to fix? I am using a Direct TV box. All local programming is from Minneapolis instead of Orlando. Makes the weather interesting.

Do you actually have service or are you just "using" a DirecTV box acquired from somewhere?

What model is the DirecTV box?

Have you always been in Florida or did you recently move?

Have you called DirecTV to verify the physical service address shows correctly on your account?

I have Direct TV Service (originally ATT) and everything has been fine until yesterday when it switched the local programming. It eventually corrected  without any intervention. It has no reverted to the Minneapolis programming. I have checked all location settings, resarted the box, unplugged the box, etc. etc. Our billing address is our location address and has not changed.  Our model # is C71KW-400

Hi Angela - I handed hubby the remote and he accepted the challenge (ordinarily I am in charge of all things IT; lol) He is my hero - he went thru these steps and got a bit further than I did - remote reprogrammed (I didn't get that dar) and now we are back in sunny Fl.a Thanks everyone

Our model # is C71KW-400

Based on the C71K and your saying "originally AT&T", you don't have DirecTV. Instead, you have DIRECTV STREAM.

DirecTV is the satellite service. DIRECTV STREAM is what was previously AT&T TV or AT&T TV NOW, which before that was DIRECTV NOW. AT&T is at fault for that naming overlap.

Moving to the DIRECTV STREAM forum for better visibility.
