Only some Samsung TV models have an available DirecTV Stream. But it's junk. You'll have much better performance with a separate streaming device .... Roku, Fire TV, DirecTV Stream box, etc.

You say, "to stream DirecTV". Well do you have DirecTV (which is satellite service) or DIRECTV STREAM?

With either service, DirecTV is a single word, only one T, not Direct TV. Be cautious as bad scams will try to hide behind such simple typos.
You are not trying to stream DirecTV, but use the service named DIRECTV STREAM. Whomever at AT&T signed off on that branding made an extremely bad decision as has caused lots of confusion.
DIRECTV STREAM does have an app you can download on some streaming devices. However, it is highly suggested to have a box of some sort even if not the DIRECTV STREAM specific one. The app for "smart" TVs doesn't function as well, especially since those TVs tend to be a bit sub-standard with resources to support those apps.
