Can you transfer DirecTV DVR recordings to Directv Stream?

DirecTV recordings cannot be transferred. Not only to DIRECTV STREAM being they are separate services that have nothing to do with each other, but you cannot transfer recordings between DirecTV boxes. The recordings are encrypted to the box they were recorded on.
