Costco 2 yearnpromo

I was told the promo from Costco was good for 2 years, but you increased it by a huge amount after one year. It’s twice what I was paying with my previous carrier. How can you fix this. It’s not OK.

Those people at Costco don't work for DTV but for a third party company and are known to say anything to get their commission.  The new customer into price is only for one year then it goes to full price, the email sent before the install stated this as well as the hand held you signed after the install.

Intro discount is for 12 months. Service agreement is 24 months per value of equipment. This is the general intro model that has been used for about 20 years for DirecTV.

Sellers in Costco do not work for DirecTV, but a 3rd party reseller (usually Smart Circle) who send orders to other companies.

DirecTV will only honor what is on the official order, of which they send an order confirmation to you to review before you are installed. Something to review regardless of what the sales agent told you. As long as that order and what you receive match, there is nothing to fix. You can of course complain to the kiosk located in that Costco, or calling the 3rd party dealer that location works for to do so.
