Direct tv in collections
I am on collections with direct tv. They never gave me credit for my receivers being returned. It’s been far too long and I just need it off my credit report. I do not want to pay them, I want to pay direct tv and have them wipe the report. How do I do that?

Can't be done once DTV has sold off the debt you deal with the collection company unless you have proof you returned the receivers then you have to contact DTV.

Any issues on your credit report can be removed. You just need to keep at it. I am done fighting direct tv. I paid half of the debt a few years ago. I just want to pay it. I can’t prove I sent the boxes back because they sent me prepaid boxes to send them. I have my cell phones on ATT and I can’t get to direct tv account. I won’t pay a debt collector because then it stays on your account. I want to pay the source and then the debt collector can be removed easier from your credit report. Such a stupid amount of money and it’s been sitting on my report and I didn’t even know. I want to go buy a new car and I want better rates. Higher credit report rating = better rates.

First of all it is DirecTV (only a single T in the brand).
You cannot access the account online as the account is canceled. Lots of companies are like that.
Comes down to that DirecTV wrote off the balance to a collection agency. This means they no longer own it. As such you cannot pay them. Settling with the collection agency is now the option.
Those prepaid return kits have tracking numbers. Depends on how long ago it was if the shipper can research it. Though are you sure you used the correct shipper. They send by FedEx but the return is through USPS (Postal Service, not UPS) which caused confusion for some resulting in dropping off with the wrong shipper and it subsequently being lost of course.
