If you are paying your bill in full days before the listed due date (not the statement date or service cycle dates), but getting a past due warning, I would check the DirecTV account to verify the payment shows as posted. If not posted then you would need to first check with your financial institution if they show the payment cleared before submitting a missing payment dispute with DirecTV.
However if payment shows posted in time, then disregard the messages. It would just be an error in their notification system, not someone manually typing up a message to harass you. Customer support doesn't program or maintain the notification system, so wouldn't know why you are getting a notice in error (but if payment posted late, or not at all, then they could tell you something). Best to keep the situation in perspective.

Thanks for reaching out to us @Noprolamama, regarding your billing questions.
To better understand your concerns, Do you make your payment online or other means like?
We strongly encourage our direct TV customer to enroll in auto pay as that will eliminate missed payment, text reminders, service disconnection and late payment fees.
You can find out how to view and pay your bills online here

That is a good point. How you pay your bill matters. If online with a card on their website, then posts the same day. Other 3rd party methods (such as your bank's bill pay option) can take up to 3 business days to post. And if mailed, doesn't matter how early you send only when they receive and post it.
Only if payment is posting before the specific due date on the bill, with covering balance in full, but still getting past due notices would there be an error. But again not a situation of harassment as that is making a mountain out of a molehill.
