Can you please provide me an email address so I can lay out a disputed charge on my account. What are the steps Directv requires for disputing a charge on my account?

There is no email address available. They require a live agent to discuss your DirecTV account with you. What kind of charge are you disputing on your bill?

Thanks for your help... I just wanted to know an email address so I can keep a paper trail of what is being said. I have been told numerous things by numerous people and want to hold them accountable to what is being said. Thank you anyway... Likely the best way to handle this is to open a formal complaint with the FCC. It would have been easier with just an email correspondence but apparently that will not happen.

If agents are telling you inaccurate info, or making offers that are not available, then over the phone or through a BBB/FCC complaint are your options.
Though DirecTV does not honor invalid offers or such, they do need to correct any agents or system issues causing the problem.
Sometimes you can fact check what is being said by an agent in the forum. Many experienced customers, or the occasional employee off-the-clock, are more knowledgeable then a new or outsourced agent. We cannot access accounts, but usually can get each other pointed in the right direction.
