discontinued channels

Need help restoring channels that are included in our plan..... Agent said it would be taken care of but we still don't have it.

Hi, @garyb_1319. Let's work together to restore those channels.
DIRECTV periodically readjust the plans and pricing across the video products. However, if you want to keep those channels you can opt them back in to keep them in your lineup.
Once you're there, it will ask you to sign in, so you can select the option to keep the channels. Then, you will need to wait up to 72 hours to get them back on our TV screen.

As mentioned, DirecTV had a realignment with the channels owned by A&E. Hopefully the opt-in process will recover them for you as this is a special option for those these channels matter to the most.
Being part of your "original" package doesn't mean you will always have them. Channels/programming may change at any time and can do so without a opt-in exception like they did for this one.
