Free NFL
I'm a 19 year comstmer and when I called today to complain about how high my bill went up after the last promotional deal i got 12 months ago expired . When i was prompted for my reson for my calling I said I wanted to cancel my subscription and not for moving .I was redirected to the loyalty department and they took $45 off the bill for 12 months and gave me the NFL package for free ....last year I upgraded to the new Genie and I only paid the installation fee of $19 ....I most certainly do not talk to any of non english speaking comstmer service...when you call 800 531 500 and when it asks you for the reason you are calling just say you want to cancel it will ask if you are moving , say no , you will then be redirected to the loyalty department...the promotional deals change every 45 day to 2 months

All possible channels unlocked essentially. Those sports players, actors, and such who can afford such luxury. As I understand, they even had their own dedicated support department with extended hours.
I couldn't fathom having that. Too much service that you couldn't get usage out of anywhere close to the value.

I have unfollowed this thread, yet I keep receiving emails with all the comments. Is there something else I can do to unfollow this topic? I grow weary of this topic.

Check not only the action list in the thread that it shows you've opted out of the thread, but go into your profile and check your notification settings there. Best to double check both with all the recent updates.
Just a reminder, that doesn't stop someone from mentioning you individually. If you still receive general thread notifications, I would consider clearing your browser cache/cookies, closing all browser windows, and then updating those settings again. Sometimes after changes, that saved info for the website in the browser conflicts with the current settings.
