We can’t do anything about that as this is a public forum full of customers. You need to call DIRECTV (number in my greeting below) and say ‘billing’ to the robot. Then, an agent there can help you.
Are you getting charged the same or a lower amount? When you requested to suspend, did you pay the entire balance in full (not just last billed amount) to $0? Checking as $0 balance is required to start suspend.
Check the details of the bill to be sure. If it is showing full service or just doesn't make sense, call DirecTV to verify account is suspended (and when it started). This is a public forum so we have no access to your account.
