True but they bought an MVNO who will be using ATT’s network, didn’t they? So, maybe in the cell business but not in the cell tower business.

Umm, DirecTV is a satellite TV service. That has nothing to do with cell towers. TV and cell phones are different things.

First know the business before trying to do business with them.

No, they bid on and won frequency allocations from the FCC.  They're renting space in towers.

What about a satellite tower?

@Juniper  I'm just a secretary, man.  I don't know jack about the TV/Cell biz.  Now looking for something similar to the original post, but for satellite rather than cell.  Any suggestions? 

@sandblaster This was extremely helpful.  Thank you! Do you have similar info but for satellites?  I'm not versed in the business, I apologize.  Just trying to gather information for my CEO.  We own and operate large scale buildings in the midwest and have space to offer.  

I can't think of any reason why DirecTV would care about leasing space on large scale buildings for any satellite equipment. 

@Site_Offer Space to offer for what? You do realize satellites orbit the earth, right? Sure there has to be ground equipment to communicate with the satellites but all of that equipment already exists and has a place to reside in. As noted above, not likely Directv cares about leasing more space. In any event. I have no idea who you would contact. Sounds like your CEO gave you an impossible task.
