Change SD receiver to HR24
Have 18 inch dish with LNB as seen in picture below. What parts do I need or I just can connect by programming HR receiver?

If you want to continue receiving all of the channels in your program package you'll need to upgrade your dish and equipment. DirecTV will replace your old dish and SD equipment for free. Just give them a call.

If this is your home setup (so the address on the account), then call DirecTV for the complimentary swap. Do NOT say "upgrade" or you get the 24 month agreement.
However, if this is for an RV, vacation cabin, etc. then you will need to obtain a new dish at your own cost. The 18" round is MPEG-2/SD-only and cannot be updated to MPEG-4. It must be replaced.
The nice thing is with SWM (single wire multiswitch), once installed you don't have to worry about swapping between number of cables for however many tuners the box has (receiver only like D12 has 1, DVR/HDDVRs have 2 like HR24, or Genie HR34 and up have 5).
