return equipment

I received  a DVR on Wed, 8/24.  It is exactly like the one have had for years!  This one did not work either.  I want to return it but cannot find a return label.  I also want to refurn a mini gene that I no longer use.  Can I get some help, please???

You take returnable receivers to a UPS/FedEx store to scan them in and keep the receipt as proof you returned them.  If you are more then 10 miles from one you have to call DTV 1 800 531 5000 to get a return kit that you take to the post office. What are the model numbers to see if they are returnable or not.

What is the model of the old and new box?

What do you mean it is "not working" (symptoms, error message, etc.)

DirecTV hasn't invented new models in a while, so likely it was the most recent of the equipment line. But if you posted some actual details, perhaps we could help figure out why it is "not working" and help you find a fix.

As for the Mini Genie Client you no longer use, call DirecTV to deactivate it off the account. Depends on the model number if returnable or not. If it does go back, you take to a participating FedEx or The UPS Store with your account number for the free return. Just make sure to keep receipt showing the shipper took possesion.
