Upgrade old R22 receiver to current HD DVR

We have an old R22 receiver that we've been using for years.  It apparently does not do HD and now all the SD channels are being eliminated.  I would like to use the DirecTV.com web site to order a replacement.  Can anyone tell me how to do this?  I can't find anyplace on the DirecTV.com to do this.  I really do not want to have to call them.

The R22 can be made to be HD but you need another HD receiver on the account. Most likely you will need an HD dish installed so you are better off using DTVs free swap offer and AFAIK that has to be ordered by calling them.

@Computer_Granny

R22 is a special model. It is listed and provided as an SDDVR. However, it is MPEG-4/HD capable. Notice the HDMI port, which is specifically for HD.

If you have a H or HR model on the account, where you already have HD service, then the R22s HD capability is active. Just need to use an HDMI cable and in the display settings change the Guide HD Channels from "Hide HD Channels" to "Hide SD Duplicates".

However if you have no H or HR models, then an equipment order will be needed. As the MPEG-2/SD-only channels are shutting down, new equipment would be required. So do NOT say "upgrade" and instead request a MPEG swap. Has to be done over the phone because of your grandfathered equipment.

Is that R22 your only box? If not, please list the model numbers of all boxes you have.
