I'm switching from my old DVR service to U-verse in a couple of weeks, and I have a question for you guys. How long can I remain paused on live TV? The amount of time seems to vary between DVR services, and I'm wondering about this one.

In the past 3 days a problem has developed on my DVR when I attempt to switch channels. There is usually a 5 second delay before a picture appears, and I am also experiencing a long delay in the scrolling on the TV Guide of channels. Any assistance is appreciated.
