I am thinking of getting a second DVR as an upgrade for my HD receiver on a second set. If you have two HD DVR's can you record different shows on them during the same time period? In other words are they independent?. If not what would be the purpose in having more than one DVR?Thank you.

The words on my DirectTV app are overlaid and not all visible….as viewed on my IPAD. For example, no line of the title of the show is more than just the top edges of the letters. 

DVR is in one room, it now has 53 recordings.  I have always been able to watch the recordings in the other room, even set up recordings there. Now there are no recordings available to view in the other room.  How did this happen?  and is there any way to get the recordings viewable on the other tv
