Genie with other receivers

I have been having a difficult time accomplishing this request with 4 Directv support people.  I am hoping someone can point me in the right direction and advise if this is possible.  I am trying to add 4k to my setup.  This is what I have and would like to do:

R15 SD DVR – Support is going to be dropped for this soon, so I will be disconnecting it.
2 HR24 DVRs – I want to keep these.
2 HR21 DVRs – One will replace the R15, the other I want to upgrade to a Genie HR54.  Apparently you must have the mini too for 4K.  That is fine since I use two DVRs in one room now to record 4 things at once.
H21 – HD Receiver I want to keep for tailgating.

I have a Slimline 5 dish but I have a new dish with SWM LNB, power inserter and 8 way splitter.  What else would I need?

What are the magic words to make support understand what I want to do?  Lastly, a customer since 1998 under no contract.  any money saving tips would be nice too!

I apologize if this has been covered before.

Thanks,
Trey

Ok after the R15 is disconnected, you are keeping 4 HDDVRs and 1 HD non-DVR to continue with tailgating, so 5 TVs total.

You would need to replace both your HR21s if you are reducing to 5 TVs and doing a 4K upgrade. The 3rd generation Genie (HR54) goes on 1 TV, the 4K Client goes on the 4K TV. The Genie is a 5 tuner HDDVR with a 1TB hard drive so is more capability than the 2 HR21s put together.

Upgrade will come with a 24 month service agreement. In addition to the HD and DVR service you will be adding $3 for Whole Home DVR, if you don't already have it. You would still be saving the $7 from the one TV you are removing, so slightly lowering bill overall just on base cost.

4K requirements:

HR54 Genie on non 4K tv (Can connect to a 4K tv, but will not provide the 4K feed to it).

C61K Mini Genie Client (wired only at this time) on 4K tv.

Remember Client has no tuner of its own, uses 1 from the Genie.

4K tv must support HDCP 2.2, HDMI 2.0, and 60 FPS

Directv Installation, 4K tv must be there

Package Select or above as of 12/15/2016 (used to be only Ultimate or Premier). So only the Family package will not get 4K service at all.

At this time there are only a couple channels in 4K (plus a few PPVs)

Even if you have multiple C61K or RVU clients, only one tv can be using a 4K channel at a time.

Because of the limited 4K content, I would consider doing the Genie upgrade to replace 1 of your HR21s, but keep the other instead of replacing with a Client. A client has no tuners or recording space as is an extension of the Genie in a sense.

And do NOT allow an agent to order you the Genie-2 (HS17). It would require replacing all boxes with Clients, meaning you can no longer tailgate and lose all your existing recordings. The regular Genie is more flexible as allows HDDVRs (and your HD non-DVR), which provides more tuners overall to go around.
