4K Darkness

Hi everyone. Do any of you happen to know why the 4K channels on DTV are so dark? Is there anything I can do? All of my other channels are fine. I have a Samsung 4K TV...is there perhaps a setting on there that I need to adjust for a brighter 4K experience? Thanks in advance for your replies.

Message 771 for 24 hours straight now

Nothing works except for my recorded shows from BEFORE this message came along. Its a whole house thing.. not just one receiver. None of the 4 receivers work. This was just installed a week ago so I wouldnt think it would be an alignment issue. Anyone got a good answer?

New GUI - Straight to Recordings from Menu button?

The new GUI appeared this morning. Now, when I hit menu I get a "what's on" list instead of my recordings and I need to hit the down arrow twice to get to my recordings. Please tell me this is a setting that can be changed to go back to the old behavior.

TV doesn't power off or go into the save feature. When I wake up, it's on. So, it's not waking up by itself if it ever goes to sleep. I'm the one asleep, not my TV. The DirecTV app closes and I'm looking at a Samsung app when I wake up; not a screen

TV screen darker than normal with Direct TV streaming

New user to streaming through Direct TV - I find that the picture on the tv is much darker than when I had cable. Of course, trying to correct the picture through menu on the tv remote doesn't help due to streaming option. We stream through our Firestick and Roku. Never had this issue with the Fire

You're lucky! I don't think I've ever had a tech that rated more than a 3 of 10. Sometimes they don't even show up!!! But that's just how AT&T does business. That tech might be new and hasn't been tainted with AT&T darkness yet.

Hard wire.  It was plugged into a little 5-port switch which backhauls to my main rack, but I removed that and wired it straight to the primary gigabit switch for my house as part of my troubleshooting.
