I replaced a tv and programmed the remote for volume, channel and power.  When I press Guide, the tv turns off and when I press Menu I get the tv's internet options.  How do I recover the rest of my Uverse features?

Every time I leave the directv stream app or when I start it for the first time I have to restart my fire stick max. When I enter the directv streaming app the channel letters and symbols appear in the channel box.  Is there a setting or fix to remove this repetitive problem?
