Why do I have a thin black line 2inches in from both right and left side of screen? It appears on all channels. I wasn't there yesterday, but appeared today.

I live in CA and Verizon had directv as a part of their plan. When we had it with Verizon(about 4 yrs ago), the tech who set up our service was able to rid us of the blue line. Hello payback is fine for video but Audio handled through my ASUS Rampage II Gene Onboard sound is thin and tinny. I have disabled the SPIDF function as some have suggested but there is no improvement.The OS is Win 7 64 bit, Video is NVIDIA GTX295...Any Suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

Occasionally I get a very thin white/static line across the top of the TV. It does not happen very often but is a distraction when it does. It is only specific to the occasional recording so it makes me think its the DVR and not the TV. Any idea on how to fix this? Thanks for your help.
