Can i DIRECTV Stream from home and another location?
Hi, My child recently moved away from college, we currently have Hulu Live and found that she cannot access live or recorded shows in her dorm (she is about 1 hour away from us). Does Directv Stream have the ability to log in both at home and in her dorm through her Roku device and access Live and recorded shows in both locations?

What streaming device(s)?
What error message do you get?
How long have you been a DirecTV Stream customer?

Yep the service is sketchy at best….. I have had to delete and re add all of my streaming devices both at home and at the camper EVERY TIME we go away for the weekend…. Roku says it’s Directv And Directv says it’s Roku

So can the three streams outside the home be used by family members without violating the TOS, while at the same time having the 20 in home streams available? It seems the answer above is yes, but TOS was not mentioned.

I am a regular (not streaming) DirecTV customer (i.e. I have a satellite dish and a receiver/DVR at my house). I’m away for the winter and have logged in to DirecTV’s Roku channel at my new location.
Is there any way for me to access the shows I recorded on my home DVR? Is there any way to set up new recordings that I could access from here or do I have to watch things live if the program isn’t available through OnDemand)?

Thanks! This is where the link took me when I searched in DirecTV help.
Any chance you could tell
me where to find the appropriate forum?

OK - I have lived in Dallas, TX for many years but recently moved to Florida to be closer to my parents however, I still prefer my DirecTVStream show Dallas local and sports stations, not Florida local and sports stations. How can I get my DirecTV Stream to change my location services back to the Dallas area?

The Direct TV streaming system is terrible and non-customer friendly. Multiple times we have been locked out of watching shows in our own home. We have been unable to watch Direct TV on (2) different TVs in our home because they tell me "more than three devices are already streaming." In addition, they don't allow customers to even see which devices are supposedly streaming or even disconnect ancillary devices that we don't know about. It is ridiculous the crappy service restrictions, especially when paying a huge price every month.

Yes she should be able to.
There should be a setting in the device called
LOCATION SERVICES that needs to be turned on.
If her problem continues to exist you will need to contact AT&T.
Good Luck:)
