ATT hired Texstar enterprises to install uverse in my neighborhood , they dug up my front yard jammed up my pluming that caused a sewer back up in my home that contaminated the water system ... Me and my whole family got sick with upset stomachs and diarrhea also my dish washer was ruined along with other belongings my dog had to be rushed to the emergency vet after being bathed a couple of weeks later in the backyard faucet that hadden been flushed ... In all it was about $3000 in losses not to mention what we went thru being sick and all... AND THE COMPANY TEXSTAR REFUSES TO HELP US WITH RECOUPING ANY OF OUR LOSSES !!!!!!!!!!!!!! THEY SAID CONTACT ATT RISK MANAGEMENT Who hasn't returned a phone call or email...

Wait... why is the title of your post "ATT HAS TOTALLY TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF ME" then in your post you discuss how AT&T's contractor, Texstar, caused you a problem and referred you to AT&T.

Is that the end of the story?  If so, your title is false advertising.

@Buckshot101 are you saying that you've contacted Texstar and they refuse to accept responsibility for damages?

Yes, ATT has a risk management company but why would they be responsible when Texstar (contractor) is the one that (allegedly) caused all of your problems?

Don't mess with old people.  The older we get, the less "Life in Prison" is a deterrent.

I'm having a tough time imagining how the sewage got into the fresh water supply?

I've heard of water lines being cut, and sewage lines being cut, but did they cut both and the sewage contaminated the fresh water?

They filled my line with a lot of dirt and rocks causing the back up into the home.. The city of round rock had to send crews out about 4 times to put a camera into the ground on 4 different days to see if the blockage had been cleared caused by Texstar Enterprises...

Oh... I see now. Thanks for explaining that. As for who is responsible, I don't know. Could be the contractor, but maybe AT&T since they are the ultimate line owner. Goodluck.

Sedgewick is the risk management company.  If there is a problem or monetary claim, this is who you will have to deal with.
