DAMAGE TO MY LAWN

Contractors for AT&T started digging up my lawn on July 7th.  Our lawn was looking GREAT.  We have a private landscaper who can't believe how bad our lawn looks now.  There are seven areas of damage.  The sod that was removed was pounded down with a machine.  We still have two holes was soil on top that is killing that area of lawn.  I was told by the workers that the holes would be filled in by yesterday.  They weren't.  How do I get compensated for the damage?  Will AT&T pay my landscaper to repair the damaged areas?
