remote refund

Our dog got ahold of our remote yesterday while we were at work.  We only have 1 television (U-verse).  I called last night and had to order a replacement which I had to pay for.  We will not receive it until next week and since we are unable to watch tv I would like 1 week credit for my AT &T bill.

Since we only have 1 tv and the only remote we have is destroyed.  I went to an A T & T store to get a new remote and was told it needed to be ordered online. By the time I receive it a week will have passed without the television.  If they would carry remotes in the store it would be most helpful.

Huh?  As far as I know they are free.

I thought you could channel up/down with the buttons on front of the box.  I’ve had U-verse for over 10 years but I was never without a remote so I’m speculating.

You can operate the box from the buttons on the box.

Maybe they could train the dog to operate the buttons on the front of the box since he's the one that started all this!  Smiley LOL
