Att charged me 49.99 for wireless receiver
So my old wireless receiver would lose connection to WAP it seemed like everyday and it was very hard getting it to reconnect. After performing a soft reboot like I’ve done many times, the receiver finally just stopped working and just displayed a red X. After talking to ATT about troubleshooting the problem they determined the box was bad and they would send a replacement wireless receiver. It’s been a few weeks and I’ve had no problems out of the new receiver. My problem is att charged me $49.99 for a new box when their equipment malfunctioned. This does not seem fair!!!

Call customer service and challenge being charged.

I have had uverse since August 2018 and I had 1 wired receiver and 1 wireless receiver. The wireless receiver never worked like it should have. It always lost connection but I just dealt with it until finally it would not boot back up. The installation was free as part of the promotion contract that I signed. I just don’t understand how ATT can charge me for a replacement wireless receiver when their equipment malfunctioned. I have spoke to numerous ATT employees and they tell me that 2 different supervisors say this is a legitimate charge. I really don’t think it is.
