Cancel Direct TV, reinstall U Verse
I had Direct TV installed and do not like it. I want to go back to U Verse and all the equipment is still here. No one seems to want to tell me if the U Verse has been canceled or not, or if I can go back. I have 2 accounts I want changed. Any ideas?

When you installed DirecTV you would have started with a 24 month service agreement. So if you do cancel, you get an Early Cancellation Fee (ECF) valued at $20 for each month remaining of that agreement.
To see if you can stop the cancellation of U-Verse, or reinstate if already canceled, you have to call U-Verse. Be prepared it is a legacy service, not accepting new customers, so it is possible that cancellation might not be reversible.
DirecTV and U-Verse are two separate providers so you must contact each separately.
